Ok so I want to talk about the importance of choosing the right Product/ products to promote. It's important, very important infact to do your RESEARCH! Remember being at school (or at university, where i'm studying now) they always pummel on about the importance of research. Yes, i'm sure you're eyes rolled as much as mine when this word was used, but trust me, it's essential.
Without research you don't know what you're leading yourself into. It's the equivelent of walking into a pitch black room without finding out if there are any holes in the floor. Yeah, ouch!
When deciding what product to promote you need to verify its authenticity, it's ability to provide good service and also it's profitibility. Theres no point in promoting a product that no one wants and will make you no money, you might aswell be throwing you're time under a train and waving it goodbye. Instead of throwing your time under a train, throw your time onto the train and do your RESEARCH!
